Morangis, 1st, March 2024 – Automotive and industrial tool specialist FACOM® has expanded its successful workshop and garage storage solution with the announcement of the 2nd Generation of Roll Workshop System: providing everything the professional requires to create a fully optimised and customised workshop storage environment.
This versatile system incorporates a raft of new, space-saving modules, delivering even more efficient ways to safely organise and store equipment and accessories, as well as items such as cleaning materials and power tools.
Constructed from high-strength metal, the 2nd generation of Roll Workshop System features an ergonomically designed, self-standing structure that does not need to be fixed to a wall, therefore enabling unlimited configurations and set-ups. This allows the workshop owner to create a fully bespoke layout suited to their working requirements. Tools and other items can be stored securely thanks to the centralised locking system, keeping valuable items protected when not in use.
The FACOM Roll Workshop System 2 offers a multitude of options, with 20 core modules including tall cabinets, chests, roller cabinets, drawer cabinets, worktops, shelving and lighting. Worktops can be purchased in either multi-ply beech or galvanised metal.
All metal surfaces are coated with an epoxy powder paint finish for added durability. Comfortable and ergonomic, there are two height options available: 847mm and 1,012mm including the 30mm worktop. Each module is delivered ready-assembled, for fast and easy installation.
With the 2nd generation of Roll Workshop System, FACOM has added the following components:
Corner Station Unit
Engineered for maximum space efficiency, the new Corner Station Unit is available with a wooden or galvanised worktop finish, and includes three perforated panels/pegboards. This self-supporting corner solution offers the hanging surface of six standard panels.
7-Drawer Base Unit (5 x 60mm, 2 x 130mm height)
With space to accommodate all kinds of tools and accessories, this 7-drawer base module offers generous storage opportunities. A raising base can be added to elevate the cabinet to a higher level, and, for a perfect finish, a metal plinth is available to cover the feet of the unit.
Under-worktop Mobile Base Unit
This manoeuvrable six-drawer roller cabinet features four strong 360° swivel casters with brakes at the front, and includes two large handles on the front side for added mobility and control.
Power Tool Organiser
Designed for easy access and retrieval, this useful rack can hold up to six power tools and connects to the Roll Workshop Top Chest.
1 Metre Width Storage Cabinet
With hand pulls that are fully integrated into the design, this tall cabinet has a width of one metre and offers two solid lockable doors and three robust, adjustable shelves accommodating 75kg capacity each. Supplied with a finishing plinth as standard
Drawer on Wheels
Sliding neatly between the feet of the cabinets, this open mobile drawer delivers smart additional storage space for cable reels, accessories, cleaning materials and other sundry items, leaving no wasted space under the cabinets.
Service Clean Station
This unit features a built-in recycling bin designed to tidily store used rags and other waste during the working day. It also incorporates a paper roll holder with convenient tear-off function and a space for sprays and other cleaning items.
Noteboard
Simple to assemble, this half-height noteboard panel delivers a useful extra storage surface for drawings, plans, documents and reminders.
Perforated panel
The perforated panel is ideal for hanging hand tools or attaching small shelves. Also available with mains power charging sockets and two USB power charging ports.
